Are you a technophile or a science buff? Then, Gyanith’23 is calling all the tech and science enthusiasts to gear up with a partner and get ready for the Tech and Science Quiz, ‘BongVo’. Here’s your chance to showcase your knowledge and get hold of some exciting prizes!

Format

Round 1: Multiple Choice Questions

• In this round, there will be 20 questions.
• Each question consists of 4 options, out of which only one option is correct.
• The duration of the quiz will be 15 minutes.
• The Top 6 teams with the most number of correct answers will move on to round 2.
• In case there is a tie between the teams, then a buzzer round will be conducted.

Round 2: Oral Quiz

• This round consists of 10 questions without any options.
• The coordinators will be asking the questions orally and the participants have to write their answers on paper.
• The duration of each question is 1 minute.
• The top 3 teams will be shortlisted for the final round.
• If there is a tie, 3 more questions will be asked to the respective teams to break the tie.

Round 3: Buzzer Round

• In this round, the first, second and third teams will be determined.
• There will be 5 questions which be asked orally by the coordinators.
• Whoever presses the buzzer first will get the chance to answer the question, if they get it wrong, the next team which pressed the buzzer will get the chance to answer.
• If none of the teams press the buzzer, the question will be skipped.
• If there is a tie, 1 more question will be asked.

Rules

• The Team size can be a maximum of 2.
• All the detailed Rules and Regulation will be explained on the Event Day.
• Any kind of malpractice will be viewed seriously and result in disqualification.
• The verdict of the Organizers shall need to be abided by the Participants.
